ISLAMABAD –

The Council of Pakistan and International Relations (COPAIR), in collaboration with the Department of Strategic Studies (DSS) at Quaid-i-Azam University, successfully hosted a seminar titled “Marq e Haq: Spirits Aligned: Celebrating Valor and the Vitality of Youth.” The event brought together prominent policy advisors, academics, and students to commemorate national resilience and discuss the pivotal role of youth in Pakistan’s future.

The program commenced with a welcome address by Amna Munawwar Awan, President of COPAIR, who emphasized the importance of aligning national spirit with the aspirations of the younger generation. Fahad Haroon, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM), delivered the keynote address, highlighting the strategic necessity of fostering innovation and leadership among Pakistani youth to meet modern global challenges.

Expert perspectives were shared by Ammar Jaffri, Founder of Digital Pakistan, who spoke on the intersection of digital evolution and national security, and Dr. Riaz Shad, Dean at NUML, who provided an academic overview of the historical significance of the “Marq e Haq” commemorations.

The event featured an engaging and interactive Q&A session, which was moderated by Dr. Adnan Athar Bukhari. Students and faculty participated in a robust dialogue regarding Pakistan’s strategic environment and the importance of maintaining national unity.

The seminar concluded with remarks from Dr. Muhammad Tehsin, Head of Department (HOD) of Strategic Studies. Dr. Tehsin praised the collaborative efforts of COPAIR and DSS in creating a platform for intellectual discourse, noting that the valor celebrated today serves as the foundation for the leadership of tomorrow.

The event ended with a networking session, allowing students to engage directly with the guest speakers.
