MPhil Fellows of DSS Department had a candid interaction with guest scholar Professor Hussain Shaheed Suherwardy from the University of Peshawar, who discussed the important topic of Pakistan Afghanistan Relations and the Impact of Non State Actors. Dr Hussain enlightended the students with how non state actors such as the TTP have created a space for themselves in Afghanistan, the response to the issue by various stake holders both in Pakistan as well as Afghnaistan and how bilateral, international as well as internal dynamics of the two countries stand affected by the actions of TTP and a lack of consensus between Kabul and Islamabad over the issue.
