M.Phil Scholar of DSS won Essay Competition

Mr. Muhammad Sarmad Zia, an M.Phil scholar at the DSS Department secured 3rd prize in an essay competition on Democracy Day, September 15, 2015, organized by Pakistan Institute of Parliamentary Services (PIPS). The topic of essay was “Strengthening Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s Vision of Parliamentary Democracy for Pakistan: Challenges and Prospects Today”. The competition was attended by participants from more than ten schools, colleges and universities including International Islamic University, Iqra University, QAU, National Defense University, NUML, NUST, IMCG-F-7/2 Islamabad, Beaconhouse Margalla Institute, The City School and Margalla Boys Campus H-8/4.
